UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS BOOK 2 - EPISODE THIRTY

EPISODE THIRTY Abdulsalam: There’s no way I’m letting Mum go to that man’s house. He doesn’t even deserve it. The fact that he refuses to open up means he’s already sick of her, and I won’t stand by and watch Mum bring more disgrace to our family. Abdulhakeem: I guess this is why Hazeemah insisted we shouldn’t inform Mum about it. Abdulrahman: Then who told her? Abdulsalam: I know Ummu well—anything related to a broken marriage, she’s always against it. Abdulhakeem: Everyone knows Mum. I’m sure she didn’t find out from our family. I’m certain of that. Abdulrahman: Get in the car. We need to find her before she gets there. (They all get into the car and reverse slowly.) Few minutes later Abdulsalam: Stop! That’s her car coming our way. Abdulrahman: Block the road. (They park the car and step out.) (Hajia Shukroh steps out, recognizing them.) Hajia Shukroh: There you are! I’ve been trying to call you. I want you to accompany me to Abdulmalik’s house. As for not telling me everythin...

UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS BOOK 2 - EPISODE TWENTY NINE

EPISODE TWENTY-NINE M.K: (Enters the house looking exhausted. He takes off his shoes and collapses onto the couch, panting heavily.) What a day, man... Hazeemah, bring me some— (Realizes and pauses, then clears his throat.) I... I forgot she isn’t... (Gets up, removes his suit, and drags it to the ground as he climbs the stairs. Suddenly, he hears his sister's voice roaring from outside.) Oh my God! I guess she found out too... Miss Shola: (Almost breaks down the door.) ABDULMALIK AREGBESHOLA! Get down here! Mr. Oyegbami: (Follows her in, panting heavily.) Babe, what is going on? You barely told me why you’re so angry. What’s happening? Miss Shola: (Ignores him and focuses her attention on M.K.) I said get down here! M.K: (Sighs heavily.) What do you want this time? Miss Shola: I thought there were levels to everything in life—except being stupid. M.K: (Understands the insult.) So you’re calling me stupid now, huh? Miss Shola: No... You’re not just stupid, you’re a fool. I though...

UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS BOOK 2 - EPISODE TWENTY EIGHT

EPISODE TWENTY- EIGHT Hazeemah: (Her entire body stiffens as she struggles to breathe. Every organ in her body seems to freeze at the shocking news. She sits motionless, her eyes widening in disbelief.) M.K: (Noticing her silence, he looks up and is startled by her state. He hurriedly taps her, his own breathing becoming uneven.) "Hazeemah!" Hazeemah: (Snaps back to reality, gasping for air, her hands trembling.) M.K: "I'm sorry. I know you weren’t expecting this… but I believe it's for the best." Hazeemah: (Her eyes cloud with tears, but she composes herself. Struggling to stand, she grips the couch for support.) M.K: "Aren’t you going to say anything?" Hazeemah: (Focuses on steadying herself, avoiding eye contact.) M.K: "Alright then... what were you trying to tell me—" Hazeemah: (Suddenly loses her balance and collapses back onto the couch.) M.K: (Alarmed, observing her closely.) "Are you okay? You don’t look fine at all." ...

UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS BOOK 2 - EPISODE TWENTY SEVEN

EPISODE TWENTY-SEVEN  At M&S Company (M.K hears a knock at the door.) M.K: Yes, come in. (Mariam gently closes the door, tears streaming down her face.) Mariam: Good morning, sir. (Wipes her tears.) M.K: Morning. (Focuses on the computer.) Mariam: Sir, there is something I need to tell you. M.K: (Raises his head, surprised to see her crying.) Why the tears? Mariam: I can't help it any longer. I need to say what’s on my mind before I lose it. I can't endure how my colleagues treat me. M.K: Have a seat. (Hibernates the computer and leans back.) I’m listening. (Mariam breaks down in tears.) Mariam: I am tired, sir. And to avoid reacting in a way I will regret, I’d rather report it to you. M.K: Who is the mastermind behind your tears? Mariam: It’s Salamah! She’s making life unbearable for me in this company. She has ruined my name, called me all sorts of things, and now everyone follows her lead. I have a soft heart, and I can't take it anymore. (Tears stream down her fac...

UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS BOOK 2 - EPISODE TWENTY SIX

EPISODE TWENTY SIX Hazeemah: (shocked and hurt) I can't believe these words are coming from my own mother. I expected you to understand me better than anyone else. Hajia Shukroh: (firmly) I know exactly what you’re capable of, which is why I’m telling you to set this dream aside and focus on giving your husband children. Prioritize being a mother over chasing money. Do you think if I had chosen my career over my family, you would be standing here today? (Hazeemah lowers her head, sadness evident in her posture.) Hazeemah: (voice trembling) Why? Why, of all people, don’t you understand me? What have I done wrong? Hajia Shukroh: (raising her voice) Will you stop talking back to me? I still don’t understand how your husband allows you so much freedom despite you not having a child yet. How do you expect to build a happy home without children? They are the foundation of a strong marriage. (She moves closer, her tone growing serious.) Listen to me carefully—I am speaking as your mothe...
